The Aruba Xtreme Event 2013

A never before seen event which includes four extreme sports on one huge location right here in Aruba is ready to kick off from the 2nd until the 7th of April.
Preparations and event location set up are in full progress, there will be a 3 turn BMX race track a Kite and Windsurf competition area, Skate and BMX freestyle platform, a riders lounge and VIP area for our proud sponsors, a press office, a Polar-bar, food & beverages by Senor Frogs and so much more turning Bushiri beach into an amazing event village accessible for locals and visitors.
Professional athletes from all over the world are confirmed and arriving in the next few days including 2 international Race directors for the Kite and Windsurfing disciplines.
In the BMX racing division we have 3 pros coming form Venezuela Israel Hernandez and Jose Luis Primera and one Colombian rider Andrez Jimenez.
Windurfing world stars Youp Schmidt from Holland and Taty Frans from Bonaire among other local and international professional freestyle windsurfers.
Kite surf professionals such as Bas koole , Christophe Tack from Belgium our 2 guest riders in the Kite surfing division
Our guests in the skate boarding division are Aruba’s own talented skaters Evan Haime and Ithel Maduro who are ready to put down a show in the Tranny Jam Skate boarding competition.
Not long ago a Mountain bike relay competition has been added as a one day joint event on Saturday the 6th.
A line up of DJ’s including International Djs such as DJ Funk D from Holland and DJ NRG from Curacao are expected to boost up the night atmosphere.
Unique to the extreme sport world the Aruba Xtreme event will host a video-photography competition with large cash prices.
Registrations for all competitions are open until the 2nd of April from 10:00 to 13:00
During the entire event daily report, images and videos will be made and spread trough out a wide range of media channels, off and online.
Our Ministry of public health and sports together with our many volunteers and sponsors have made this incredible event possible.
Aruba, come celebrate our local Top-athletes while enjoying a great day filled with fun and excitement.
